Pre-Paint Preparation Work
There is more to applying a fresh coat of paint for proper care of your walls, ceiling, doors, and framework. Before painting begins, our interior home painters will:
- First move furniture out of the way while properly covering it and the flooring for protection
- Remove any existing wallpaper, if applicableMake any needed repairs in the drywalling
- Properly fill in and smooth any cracks or holes
- Prime the walls and ceiling to ensure proper new paint adherence
- Wash and clean all surfaces to be painted
- Seal any stains or watermarks with mold-resistant sealants
- Remove or wrap all ceiling and wall fixtures
Only following complete preparation work are we ready to recolor the walls, ceiling, doors, and trim.
Interior Painting and Cleanup
Once properly primed, we will apply a sample of paint to one wall and have you double-check that the color is as you wanted. Large surface areas will be painted first, followed up with any smaller surfaces and trim. You can rest assured that the proper number of coats to achieve even coverage will be applied.
Upon completion, our interior painters will sweep and vacuum up after ourselves. The furniture will be moved back into place. Any extra paint will be left with you for future touchups if needed.

Hello I’m stopping by to share my experience with innovation General Services. I had some work done in my kitchen and Deck, along with some painting as well. Overall I highly recommend this company, they are very professional, fairly priced and on time. I was given an estimate with a time table of how long the job would take to finish. I was given a start date and they arrived on the day as promised and all the work was finished as expected. I was also very happy with the way they alway kept my home clean after each work day. And they also didn’t try to charge me additional fees like some other companies do when the job was done.
